Years of illegal dumping upstream contributes to the flooding. Unfortunately, it will take a lot of volunteer hours to clean up this mess.

Entrance to the pedestrian bridge is completely submerged. Coyote Creek water level must be more than 20 feet. Submersed foilage and rapid currents make this area extremely dangerous for unattended children.

This ain't the Bayou... it's the west side of William Street Park. The tree shows that the water level has already receeded by more than 1 foot.

Mud and debris will keep William Street Park closed for a while. It may be advisable to keep children away from these areas until they dry up.
