Abandoned VehicleCall Code Enforcement at 277-5305.
Sewer Back-UpBe sure to call the City of San Jose first. If the line is plugged under the street, it's the city's responsibility to clear it. A few of us have been caught before on this one. Of course, the plumber will always tell you about this city service after handing you his bill.
Slumlord ConditionsCall Code Enforcement at 277-4528.
Stray dogs or catsPets cannot roam freely and unattended in San Jose. The City has a leash law which it enforces. Owners must keep their pets fenced in their yards. To report a stray, injured or lost animal, call the Humane Society of Santa Clara Valley at 727-6529
